We offer direct printing and transprinting depending on the product that is to be screened and can advise clients who are unsure of the best type of printing for their purpose. A brief explanation of both methods is below.

Screenprinting today will often outlive the product it is printed on and the range of products that can be printed is endless, from textile garments (cotton,polyester,merino) to bags, pvc, umbrellas and compendiums - to name a few.

SCREEN PRINTING: (DIRECT)

Screen printing is regularly the option chosen when clients are looking at branding large areas of a product for maximum visual impact. Screen printing is most cost effective when doing large scale runs as the price per unit is determined by number of colours vs the number of items being printed. This makes it the ideal media for the branding of promotional giveaway items such as tee shirts.
Pricing for screen printing as previously mentioned is determined by the number of colours in the design/logo and the size of the print run (therfore each repeat order will need to be quoted on if the number of items being branded changes). Set up charges are determined by the number of colours in the clients design with one screen required for each colour used.

SCREEN PRINTING: (TRANSFER)

We also offer the option of transfer printing. This process although slightly more expensive than direct screen printing can result in a slightly crisper, flatter finish and can be more suited to fine detailed multi colour prints. Unlike normal screen printing where ink is applied directly onto the item being branded, transfer prints are printed in reverse onto specialist release paper (allowing a perfect flat/even surface to print on for best results) and then applied onto the product by a heat press.
